When you think of Marvel, there is the only one person who you will automatically think of – Stan Lee. The legendary comic book creator has passed away at the age of 95.
You have seen his work ranging from Fantastic Four, Spiderman and Iron man just to name a few. But did you know he didn’t want to do comics at first? He was embarrassed to make comics.
In 1961 Stan Lee and Jack Kirby started Marvel comics with Fantastic four. Years later Marvel is going head to head against DC and has quickly surpassed them.
It was a good thing that although Stan Lee wasn’t into comics at first, he decided to continue his work with comics.
Today Marvel is beating DC in the big screen and it seems DC has a lot of catching up to do.
One more that I find inspiring with Stan Lee is his dedication to work. He didn’t plan to retire. He was having so much fun with his work that he never felt the need to give it up.
Stan Lee loves to play cameo roles and you probably might have seen him in all the Marvel Movies in the last ten years. At his age he should have been resting but instead he took pleasure with his small parts in the movies.
